Cody train

Postby kristalis » Thu Mar 25, 2010 9:39 pm

Whose the resident expert on codys in the NKG?!

I am in need a little bit of advice on how to make a train out of three Codys (Didakite) a 30 and two smaller ones.

They all got the bridle where they attach to the front and don't have a centre top spar to attach a ring as I've seen done with bigger cody trains.
So where would I connect the train lines to?
Do I need to alter the bridle to point to balance or hold the angle of the kite?
And what distance apart should each kite be?

Basically any information at all....If anyone can point me in the right direction it'd be perfect.

Chris

Hi Chris,

If you PM me a postal address I will send you a copy of an old DVD of a programme which shows some Codys being used to recreate the man lifting train. It may help with your train as it shows how they attach the kites. It's worth it just to see the past fashions and a very young Martin Lester.<grins>

Chris,

No problem and no need. It's my pleasure. Sorry it has took so long to get back to you my computer at home is not working so can only access the forum at work. I get it copied and sent to you in the next day or two. I hope you enjoy it. I think I may have another with plans on. If I find it I put that in as well.
